Genesis Introduces Two Striking Concepts That Redefine Luxury Design

At the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show, Genesis unveiled two visionary concept vehicles that signal the brand’s evolving identity in both performance and design. Dubbed the X Gran Coupe Concept and the X Gran Convertible Concept, these showstoppers were revealed under the banner “Unfold a New Era of Genesis,” and they truly do just that.

Built upon the same architecture as the luxurious G90 sedan, both concepts push the boundaries of what Genesis aims to deliver in the near future. The X Gran Coupe Concept draws aesthetic cues from Mediterranean olive trees, resulting in a cabin ambiance rich with earthy sophistication. Meanwhile, the X Gran Convertible Concept is inspired by the depth and elegance of European wines, adding a sense of cultivated refinement to its open-air experience.

Design-wise, the cars embody Genesis’ recognizable “Two-Line” visual language, with smooth, flowing profiles, exaggerated fenders, and wheels that command attention. The interiors are equally dramatic—think quilted leathers, finely carved olive wood trims, and sparkling crystal finishes. The Coupe’s ambient lighting is crafted to evoke the calm of olive groves, while the Convertible features a bold interior palette echoing the lush color of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Italy.

For visitors hoping to see these design-forward concepts up close, Genesis is showcasing the models at its KINTEX exhibit from April 4 through April 13. With over 1.3 million customers globally, Genesis is clearly laying the foundation for a bold new future—and it’s wrapped in elegance, artistry, and innovation.
